OHMA Branding

Columbia GSAS

Columbia University’s Oral History Master of Arts Program, the first program of its kind in the United States, trains students in oral history method and theory. Through the creation, archiving and analysis of individual, community and institutional histories, they amplify the critical first-person narratives that constitute memory for generations to come.

Stislow Design created this colorful and textured program for the Oral History Master of Arts Program (OHMA) to reflect the rich mélange that results from their work. The identity includes a patchwork of dialogue and visual artifacts from students’ work.

NYC DOE CTE Brochures

NYC DOE CTE

The mission of NYC CTE is to ensure all NYC students graduate college and career ready, and to provide a high-value strategy to support both students’ postsecondary aspirations and the strength of the city’s economy. Working with the NYC DOE and various partners Stislow Design developed a cohesive look-and-feel across the related CTE information brochures for this robust program. Bold, colorful design engage students as they learn about and consider careers in various fields; from where they may be starting in public schools to next steps at CUNY schools and programs; to career pathways illustrating potential trajectories.
